Sony has sold a lot of consoles since it started selling PlayStations back in 1994. It recently crossed the 500 million mark for total number of consoles sold( 525 million, to be exact). What better way to celebrate this milestone by launching a limited edition of the PS4 Pro.
The PS4 Pro Limited Edition comes with a translucent body, a matching translucent blue DualShock 4 controller and a PS4 camera, which isn’t blue in color. The price is set at $499, which is a $100 more than the standard PS4 Pro but so is the hard drive space which has been upped to 2TB. This is the first time Sony is offering this much space in any of its consoles.
In addition to the bundle, gaming enthusiasts can get their hands on a special limited edition Gold Wireless Handset, which will be launched alongside the bundle but purchased separately for a price of $99. An additional Limited Edition translucent Dual Shock 4 controller will also run you $99.
This console is expected to hit retail shops all across the world on 24th August and Sony warns that supplies would be limited(50,000 to be exact). We’re pretty sure collectors would be scrambling to get their hands on this bad boy. Would you?
