The foundation stone for the present hotel was laid on September 23, 1973 and was inaugurated on January 3, 1978, in association with Hilton International on management agreement.
In 1988 Avari Hotels Limited entered in to a franchise agreement with Ramada Renaissance Hotels International, which also ended in December 1994.
Avari Lahore is operating under the current name since 1994. It’s a family owned business, presently chaired by Mr Byram. D. Avari.
At present Avari have properties in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Dubai respectively with expansion plans in the future.
